What was involved
We recently completed a Starlink installation for a customer in Stanton, Broadway increasing their broadband speeds from just 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps.
As part of the project, we also:
• Installed two new Ubiquiti CCTV cameras, with all cabling neatly ducted for a clean and professional finish.
• Repositioned the existing Wi-Fi access points and added an additional hard-wired access point to maximise Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property.
• Replaced a faulty wireless link between the workshop and the main house with a new wireless bridge, providing a fast and reliable connection without the need to run new cables or cause unnecessary disruption.
To achieve a clean and professional installation, we installed new ducting to the camera locations, protecting the cabling while maintaining a tidy finish. The new camera now allows the customer to keep an eye on the site car park from anywhere, improving both security and peace of mind.
We also installed a hard-wired Cat6 connection to a shepherd’s hut on the grounds, giving the customer a reliable network connection for working remotely. To ensure strong Wi-Fi coverage inside the shepherd’s hut, we fitted a dedicated wireless access point, providing fast, seamless connectivity without relying on an wireless link.
The property is now transformed from an unreliable, slow network into one with fast, dependable Starlink broadband, improved Wi-Fi coverage, and enhanced security.
