Domestic Wi-Fi support that starts with the problem

You do not always need a new router or another booster. Thick walls, an awkward router position, interference, weak mesh links or the incoming broadband connection can all affect your experience. We review the existing setup before recommending equipment or installation work.

Based in Cheltenham, LB Network provides home networking and Wi-Fi help across Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, including Worcester, Evesham, Pershore, Broadway and nearby villages. Tell us your postcode and what is happening so we can discuss the right next step.

Wi-Fi problems we can help with

  • Weak signal and dead spots in bedrooms, extensions and loft conversions.
  • Connections dropping during video calls, streaming or everyday browsing.
  • Mesh systems and Wi-Fi boosters that struggle to reach the next room.
  • Devices holding on to a distant access point as you move around.
  • Getting computers, TVs and other devices connected after a router change.

Wi-Fi installation and optimisation

  • Reviewing router and access point positions.
  • Adjusting suitable channels, transmit power and roaming settings.
  • Installing access points or a suitable mesh system where needed.
  • Running Cat6 data cabling for dependable wired connections.
  • Checking coverage and explaining the finished setup.

Garden offices, summer houses, annexes and barns

If your Wi-Fi works indoors but does not reach the garden room, we can assess a wired connection, outdoor access point or wireless link. The distance, cable route, power supply and any buildings or trees between locations determine which approach makes sense.

For gaming or working from a garden office, we can discuss a wired data point as well as Wi-Fi. Connection speeds depend on your broadband service, equipment and the conditions at your property; we will explain the practical limits before recommending a solution.

Real local Wi-Fi projects

See our Cheltenham loft Wi-Fi and Cat6 data point installation, or how we improved home and garden room Wi-Fi in Redditch. These projects show how cabling and suitable access points can address coverage problems in different properties.

If the incoming broadband itself is the problem, our Starlink installation service may be worth discussing. Improving Wi-Fi coverage and replacing an unreliable broadband connection solve different problems.

Home Wi-Fi questions

Can you help with my existing Wi-Fi?

Yes. We can review your current router, mesh or access points and advise whether configuration changes, different positions or additional equipment would help. Support depends on the equipment and access available.

Will a booster fix poor Wi-Fi?

Sometimes, but a booster also needs a good connection back to the router. Where walls or distance weaken that connection, cabling or a differently positioned access point may be more suitable.

Do I have to change broadband provider?

Not necessarily. If the connection reaching your router is working well, the issue may be inside your home network. We help distinguish a broadband fault from a Wi-Fi coverage problem.

Can I get ongoing Wi-Fi support?

Our LB Network Connected plans offer ongoing care for eligible equipment. We can discuss suitability after reviewing your setup; plan inclusions and terms are shown on the Connected page.
