What was involved
LB Network completed a dedicated network installation connecting a garden summer house to the main home, providing a dependable connection for everyday internet use, streaming and gaming.
The project involved installing an outdoor Cat6 network cable between the house and the summer house, with the garden section routed underground in protective conduit. External cabling was secured neatly around the property.
Inside the summer house, we installed an upgraded network switch and a Ruijie Reyee Wi-Fi 7 access point, giving the building both wired connectivity and dedicated wireless coverage.
The result
The completed installation provides a dedicated wired network link back to the main home rather than relying on a Wi-Fi signal stretching across the garden. The upgraded switch also supports additional connected devices.
