What was involved
The BBQ Society approached us to help install a brand-new POS (Point of Sale) system in their busy Gloucester kitchen. The project included setting up a new till, two kitchen display monitors, and a printer.
From the start, we made sure all the new data cables were installed neatly and safely, keeping them out of the way to avoid any hazards in such a fast-paced environment. While on-site, we also took the opportunity to tidy up and reorganise the existing cabling, leaving the kitchen with a much cleaner and more professional setup.
As part of the job, we moved the master telephone socket from the kitchen to the office. This created a much more suitable space for the broadband router and allowed us to hardwire the office computer directly to the connection. This small change gave them a faster, more reliable internet connection and helped ensure smooth day-to-day operations without interruptions.
Overall, the installation not only gave The BBQ Society a brand-new POS system but also improved the efficiency and reliability of their kitchen and office setup.
