What was involved
A customer got in touch after struggling with poor Wi-Fi coverage throughout their home, with little to no reliable signal in the garden and garden room.
To create the best possible network, we first relocated the Openreach master socket from the children’s bedroom to a more practical location in the main living room. We then installed three hard-wired Cat6 data cables:
* One to the loft for improved upstairs Wi-Fi coverage.
* One to the opposite side of the house to eliminate weak signal areas.
* One to the garden room, providing fast and reliable Wi-Fi outdoors.
We then installed Ruijie Wi-Fi access points, creating a seamless Wi-Fi network throughout the property. As an added benefit, the customer now has the option of remote support and network management should they ever need assistance.
The result is fast, reliable Wi-Fi across the entire home and garden room, with no more dead spots. As an added bonus, the router is now in a much more practical location, rather than taking up space in the children’s bedroom.
